Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

Success in this role requires solid programming/troubleshooting skills (one or more programming languages - Go-lang, Java, Python, Typescript or JavaScript), solid computer science fundamentals. You should be comfortable working by yourself and collaborate with the larger team. You will start with a small project/feature and eventually own full designs, implementations. You will provide adequate tests for your code so the code can be successfully deployed to a live service being used at all times from different geographic locations.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

As a new member of the Developer Engineering team:

• Work with the team and product management to review and refine delivery requirements
• Write technical design documents and hold reviews
• Participate in all team scrum ceremonies
• Develop and maintain software that delivers on the team’s objectives primarily in typescript, python and/ or Golang
• Deploy microservices to Kubernetes using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems
• Communicate with consumers of the team’s software and gather requirements and facilitate adoption of your solutions

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

You will be joining a growing team of highly competent engineers located in India and around the world and reporting to a local engineering manager. We are looking for individuals who are self-driven and have the passion to learn new skills, solve complex technical issues and ultimately contribute to the delivery of cutting edge technical solutions. Where is this role located?

This role is located out of Ireland, and is open to flexible/and or remote work. We have an office space in Dublin currently where employees can go into work in office.
